TILAS project (Technology Improvement for LArge Scale Smart cities Deployment) focuses on large scale deployment in smart cities scenarios.
Smart City concept has risen as an evolution in cost and capacity of traditional wireless sensor networks applied to cities environment. A Smart City is group of heterogeneous devices providing useful information for Public Authorities and Citizens.
The evolution of this concept is directed towards two main topics:- Increasing the number of devices deployed
- Building more useful applications based on information available
